An Interactive Museum Exhibit for kids at the Kunstmuseum Den Haag

Project Overview
Kunstmuseum Den Haag has reimagined the museum experience with its award-winning Wonderkamers, an interactive, gamified journey that combines art, play, and creativity.
Targeting children aged nine and up Wonderkamers breaks away from traditional museum norms by blending physical and digital interactions the museum makes art approachable for the whole family.
For this project I conducted user testing to map out al software and UX bugs. I also thought high school classes the museums educational program of the Wonderkamers.

Key features
Immersive Exploration
Visitors enter a world designed to inspire curiosity and wonder. Spanning 13 thematically unique chambers, participants interact with art, fashion, photography, applied arts, and architecture.
Gamified Learning
The experience is a guided museum iPad game that blends digital and physical tasks. Guided by the games interface visitors are challenged to compete and complete a variety of quizes ranging from dancing with Mondrian to strutting down the Catwalk. The Wonderkamers challenges kids with tasks are both fun and thought-provoking.

Impact
By combining storytelling and gamified learning the Wonderkamers exhibition at the Kunstmuseum Den Haag positioned the museum as a industry leader in innovative cultural experiences.
Projects like Wonderkamers demonstrate how thoughtful UX design can redefine cultural engagement and introduce audiences to art in a fresh, memorable way.
